bridal makeup looks

Over the years I have developed four signature bridal looks that work. My brides often book my makeup services because they like the looks I create, and often wedding photographers thank me for makeup that photographs beautifully throughout the entire wedding day. I am super proud of this.

With looks that are bespoke and designed to enhance the features of the bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride/groom, flowers girls and wedding guests, there is no dreaded flashback and the makeup is designed to last.

Below I have created 4 sections showcasing the four looks. I am also adding content to the video page which shows a selection of mini videos that I often create of my brides and occasional clients. The videos feature before and after pictures of our work. Uploading to my site can often be labour intensive, but please do visit my Facebook and Instagram as they're often there to view.

Gold Smokey Eye

A gold smokey eye is one of my most requested looks. Depending on your skin tone, a gold smokey eye is usually created with warm or cool brown shades which range from cream to dark brown or nearly black.

Any smokey eye can be created with matte or shimmer products. Matte products are great for a more mature makeup application as shimmer can sometimes highlight what we don't want others to see.

I often use Urban Decay and Smashbox palettes to create my looks. These products blend beautifully and have fantastic longevity.

Grey Smokey Eye

A grey smokey eye is a strong, dramatic look that is super glamorous and perfect for parties. Teamed with silver, pearl, white and colour, I consider this look to be one of my most dramatic looks, especially when black eyeliner is added to the waterline and smoked with subtle grey shades for a soft blend.

Like the brown shades, a grey smokey eye can be created with matte or shimmer products. Matte products are great for a more mature makeup application as shimmer can sometimes highlight what we don't want others to see.

I often use Urban Decay, Smashbox and Bobby Brown palettes to create this look. These products blend beautifully and have fantastic longevity.

Pink Smokey Eye

A pink smokey eye was one of my most requested looks for 2019. It was also a trend on the catwalk with matching pink eyes and lips - a cool look that look that suites anyone, whether teen or mature.

I use an Urban Decay palette to create this look, teamed with Mac pigments and soft pink shimmers, although I do prefer this smokey eye using only matte shades.

Black Smokey Eye

A pink smokey eye was one of my most requested looks for 2019. It was also a trend on the catwalk with matching pink eyes and lips - a cool look that look that suites anyone, whether teen or mature.

I use an Urban Decay palette to create this look, teamed with Mac pigments and soft pink shimmers, although I do prefer this smokey eye using only matte shades.
